I appreciate your optimism but Carney has the power and authority to make life easier for us ‘average’ Canadians. He has done nothing meaningful in this direction. You sound a lot like the CBC propaganda. Pardon my honesty and truth.

PM Carney’s government has made significant progress in building more diverse global alliances and trade relationships, bringing middle-power economies together rather than deepening divisions between them.

The broader strategy seems to be moving Canada from a country that simply speaks eloquently at international forums to one that also follows through with tangible steps and strategic action. In many ways, the PM has championed plurilateralism over hegemony, reinforcing the idea that what unites us can be stronger than what divides them.

That same momentum and mindset are also needed at home. Reducing domestic red tape and enabling faster, more decisive action within our provinces will be essential if we want to strengthen our independence and long-term resilience.
